Often the later images have keywords, descriptions or titles containing part of the search word. I know that can be confusing, but it does help those who can't spell. :o)

Sometimes a double search helps narrow the field. For example, "tree AND autumn". "And" needs to be all capitals for the search to find both words. I believe you can search for several words at a time in this way.

I know the developers have discussed improving our search capabilities with an advanced search, but like everything else, it takes time, and we are all volunteers. I'm sure in time this will improve. The site has grown and developed rapidly from its small beginnings.

If you can't find a particular image and you have the time, ask in the forum. If we can't find it, someone may be able to make it for you.

I'm not admin, but I'm sure they will respond as well.

punkygator, do you have an example of what you are searching for ?

That makes it easier to explain what you are seeing or why.
