Presumably because of a complaint from one of the users/uploaders, some of the topics in the SXC general chat forum have been locked with something like
"As this has long deviated from the original intent:
"5...
or more...
or less..."
it is being closed."
Remind me, someone, just what harm these threads were doing. I'm afraid it's slipped my mind.

One thing I will say is that rsylvan is lying when he says we were posting out of a temper tantrum. Nothing could be further from the truth. He really is twisting things by saying that. I used to love the banter. Maybe it was Jimbo who was angry. Or mikey? He's shifty.

Yes, well, I wondered about a grown man in a pirate suit. I hear he wears a dress elsewhere. I don't remember scarring him mentally. He usually puts his arms up to protect his head.

I have been forced to contact sxc again, as they have ignored my emails. It has been a while since I wrote to them about their paid staff's behaviour, and their breach of my copyright. They haven't had the courtesy to respond. Most shysters behave in the same way.

Don't expect an answer this decade. They are very busy handling complaints during their coffee breaks.
If they still don't answer in a reasonable amount of time, send them a jar of your soup. Make sure the lid is tight so it doesn't leak and cause the postal service to shut down or evacuate.

Another first for SXC. On the forum menu page we have General Chat without an orange "NEW" banner next to it. The main forum looks like a ghost town now. Anything goes should be changed to "everyone's gone".
